Runner peanuts are one of four peanut varieties grown in the United States. The other three varieties are Spanish, Valencia and Virginia. Runner peanuts are usually grown in regions of Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Little Debbie purchases the peanuts for their peanut butter wafers from Georgia.
