Quickly unpack them once receiving, and cut at a 45-degree angle at least 1/2 inch long off the end of their stems. Then, fill a vase or container of your choice with cool water and place your fresh eucalyptus inside. They may look thirsty or tired after the shipment but don't worry; they only need to hydrate in the water for 1-2 hours to re-plump and reawaken.
